Trailer allegedly raided; $5K in tools missing

The Mower County Sheriff’s Department is looking for suspects in an alleged tool burglary.
According to the sheriff’s report, James Berg, of New London, Minn., was working at a farm site west of dexter on 640th Avenue and had his tools locked in a construction trailer. On Tuesday, he reported that someone had broken into the trailer and taken numerous DeWalt power tools, including drills, saws, a grinder, batteries, staplers, knee pads and more. The victim said the trailer was nearly empty. The stolen items are valued at $5,000 or more.
The case is under investigation.
