She held several jobs throughout her life, working at Queens Stove Works, Church Engraving, Drug Supply and May Engineering. She was considered a “professional volunteer” spending time at the Trinity Church office where she put together bulletins and flyers, and at St. John’s Lutheran Home at the reception desk. She also enjoyed traveling, with trips within the United States, as well as in Europe.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, participating in the Brazil Circle, Group Circle, and 52 years in the Altar Guild.
