Bruins complete sweep of Blizzard

The Austin Bruins completed a weekend sweep of the Brookings Blizzard (13-6 overall) when they won 7-5 in Riverside Arena Saturday.

The Bruins (15-3-2 overall) took the tied the game at 5-5 when AJ Reid scored a powerplay goal with 3:29 left in the second period and CJ Smith gave Austin the lead for good when he scored his third goal of the night early in the third period.

The Bruin's Riley Colvard is knocked to the ice by Brookings' Craig Lindegard during the second period Saturday night at Riverside Arena.

Brandon Wahlin had four assists for Austin and Nicholas Lehr had 20 saves.
