Bruins score two in the third in win in a shootout

ONALASKA, WIS. — The Austin Bruins scored two goals in the last eight minutes of the game to force a tie and Riley Colvard scored the game-winning goal in a shootout as Austin won 3-2 at Coulee Region (2-8-4 overall) Friday.

Brandon Wahlin and CJ Smith also scored in the shootout for Austin, and Bruins’ goalie Nicholas Lehr stopped five of the seven shootout attempts he saw. Lehr finished with 32 saves.

Zach Johnson and CJ Smith each scored in the third period for Austin (11-2-1 overall).
