ALBERT LEA — Three Albert Lea residents arrested Tuesday after a raid at a local home were charged in Freeborn County District Court Thursday with drug possession and firearm violations.
Brothers Brock Martin Eckstein, 48, and Erwin Leroy Eckstein, 50, each were charged with one count of marijuana possession and one count of possession of a firearm as a felon.
Lacy Rose Carlsen, 34, was charged with one count of methamphetamine possession.
According to court documents, officers with the South Central Drug Investigative Unit searched 607 11th St. early Tuesday morning after receiving a tip that there was a large amount of weapons and drugs there.
They reportedly found several baggies of marijuana, meth, drug paraphernalia and 43 firearms.
Court files say officers also found a pound of what they suspected to be hallucinogenic mushrooms in the kitchen; however, officials are still awaiting results of an analysis.
According to the court records, there were shotguns, BB guns, handguns and rifles in a bedroom closet, and two black powder .50-caliber guns and ammunition in another bedroom. A BB gun was found above a kitchen cabinet, and a rifle was found by the front door. Officers also found drugs throughout the house.
The three are next expected to appear in court Nov. 26.
