Local military veterans who served their country will get help receiving services through an upcoming Czech dinner fundraiser in Austin from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10.

The first-time benefit, organized by Ruzek brothers Mike, Dave and Dan, all of Austin, is already sold out.

“This definitely will be a fun evening for an outstanding cause — giving back to disabled veterans who have served our country,” Mike said.The event will raise funds to support Mower County’s local chapter of the Disabled American Veterans organization. All net proceeds from the event, which is a day before Veterans Day, will stay in Mower County for the Arnold Brandt Chapter 27 of the DAV.

Monetary donations also are welcomed.
