Misty Colleen Wilde, 35, of Austin, Minn., died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at her home.

Misty was born on a misty and foggy morning (how she got her name) in Merced, Calif., on Nov. 18, 1976, to Gary and Marsha Wilde. Misty loved stock car racing with her Dad; she even crashed the racecar. At a young age she put a car in neutral and it rolled down a hill until her Dad jumped in the car. She was protected by her older brother. In kindergarten he would not let her cross the road to go to school. She loved taking trips to the casino with her Mom. Misty had a fairy tale wedding in the park in Lyle, Minn. When her sister Mandy had cancer treatments she was the mother hen who took turns going to the hospital watching her baby sister. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Austin.

Misty was preceded in death by her Grandma and Grandpa Wilde, Grandma Hazel, brother Shane Wilde and aunt Mary Wilkenson. She is survived by her parents Gary and Marsha; sisters Mandy Wilde (Brandon Ingersoll) and Katherine Wilde (Jerry Price); brother Shannon Wilde (Amy); nieces and nephews, Tyler Peterson, Elizabeth Wilde, Abigail Mueller, Braydon Madison and Daisy Ingersoll; aunts and uncles, Lisa Rohde, Mary Rinaldi (Rich), Luann Wilde Jensen, Bruce Wilde, Suzette Loverink Wilde, Becky Delhanty (Craig), Kelly Pryor (Mike), Brenda Flagg (Del) and Bill Wilde (Teresa).

Funeral services for Misty Wilde will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Austin. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Austin. There will be visitation at the church one hour prior to services. Mayer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
