BYRON — The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team couldn’t maintain a lead as it lost to Byron (6-3 overall) on the road Friday.

The Awesome Blossoms (6-4 overall) led up until the four minute mark when the Bears tied the game and eventually took the lead for good on a three.
