Dustin Jay Sheeley, 41

Dustin Jay Sheeley, 41, passed away on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at Chaska Hospital, Chaska, Minn.

Dustin was born Sept. 21, 1971, in Aurora, Ill., the son of Phillip and Janet (Bjorgo) Sheeley. He is survived by his daughters, Izabella and Sophia of Wentzville, Mo.; his mother, Janet (Bjorgo) Sheeley of Austin, Minn.; his brothers Steve (Teri) Sheeley of St. Cloud, Minn., Scott of Vadnais Heights, Minn., Sister Sandra (Ross) Ohman of South St. Paul, Minn.; a special friend, Lisa Millard; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Phillip in 2012, his sister Stacy in infancy, his grandparents Vernon “Barney” and Clarice Bjorgo.

Dustin loved any kind of sports. He wrestled and played football and baseball in high school and played football in college. He served his country in the US Army. He had a deep love for his family. His treasures were his two daughters, Izabella and Sophia, and he enjoyed spending time with family whenever possible. He will be missed by all.

Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 22, 2012, at Grace Lutheran Church in Austin with Pastor Jeff Forbes officiating. A memorial service will be held at Fort Snelling at a later date.
