Grace Marie Hillier, 91, of Austin, Minn., died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at St. Marks Lutheran Home.

Grace was born in Superior, Wis., on Aug. 9, 1921, to Frank and Olga (Mack) Wheeler. She grew up in the Sargeant area and graduated from Austin High School. On May 3, 1941, she married Oliver Hillier in Hayfield, Minn. Grace worked as a clerk, assistant and secretary at several businesses in the Austin Area. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Grace enjoyed people, whether it was playing games, visiting or just having coffee. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Oliver, son Ronald, one brother and one sister.

Grace is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Oliver Jr. and Joanne Hillier, Redwood Falls, Minn., David and Carolyn Hillier, Austin; grandchildren, Craig and Kelly Hillier, Lakeville, Minn., Christopher and Kathleen Hillier, Woodbury, Minn., Cindy and Travis O’Neil, Stanwood, Wash., Jon and Jody Hillier, Austin, Annette and Prince Ekoue, Austin; great-grandchildren, Derrick Hillier, Abby Hillier, Riley O’ Neil, Noah O’ Neil, Aidan O’Neil, Jenaya Ekoue and Jenna Hillier.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at the Church of Christ with Pastor David DeFor and Pastor Stephen DeFor officiating. Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. and at the church on Saturday for one hour before the service.
