MEDFORD — John Rumpza scored 36 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the Blooming Prairie boys basketball team as it beat Medford (3-4 overall, 0-2 Gopher) 70-63 on the road Friday.

Medford got as close as two but BP (3-4 overall, 1-0 Gopher) was able to hold on.
