LEROY — The LeRoy-Ostrander boys basketball team picked up its first win of the season when it beat Houston (0-10 overall, 0-6 SEC) 51-47 in LeRoy Tuesday.
The Cardinals (1-10 overall, 1-5 SEC) trailed by one late in the game when Zach Royston hit a three-pointer and a pair of free throws to put them in control.
“I wish we could’ve gotten our first win awhile ago, but I think it’s good for the boys,” LO head coach Jason Jude said. “Tony Steinkamp came back from a knee injury and he didn’t play a lot, but he really helped us out tonight.”
