It’s all at the Austin Daily Herald this year.

The Herald was selected as the official newspaper for publication of minutes and legal notices for the city of Austin, Austin Public Schools and the Mower County board.

The school board unanimously chose the Herald as the official newspaper at its Monday meeting.

The city of Austin also approved the Herald as the city’s official newspaper.

On Tuesday, the county board unanimously selected the Herald as legal publisher.

The county board selected the Herald over the LeRoy Independent, citing the Herald’s larger circulation. Board Chairman Jerry Reinartz said it was important to have the notices available to a high number of county residents.
