The Riverland women’s basketball team hit a second half slump that it couldn’t get out of when it lost 58-45 to Minnesota West (13-6 overall, 4-2 MCAC South) in Riverland Gym Wednesday.

The Blue Devils (11-9 overall, 1-5 MCAC South) led 41-35 early in the second half when Victoria Larson hit three straight free throws, but RCC scored just four points over the last 15 minutes of the game as the Bluejays took over.

RCC will host it’s ‘Shoot for the Cure’ Paint the Gym Pink on Saturday against Anoka-Ramsey. The women will play at 1 p.m. and the men will play at 3 p.m.
