Georgia Selma Olson-Thiele-Wesely, 90

Georgia Selma Wesely, 90, passed away on Feb. 18, 2013.
She was born Georgia Selma Olson Nov. 12, 1922, in rural Frost, Minn., to Ole G. Olson and Mary (Lagried) Olson. She was the youngest of six sisters. Georgia was a longtime employee as an executive secretary for Dick Diekema Construction Company, Albert Lea, Minn. Georgia enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Georgia is survived by her sons, Jerome (Kristin) Thiele of Modesto, Calif., and Galen (Ann) Thiele of Victoria, Minn.; stepchildren Charles (Eunice) Wesely and Allan (Nancy) Wesely of Austin, Minn., Patricia (Kenneth) Thiele of North Mankato, Minn., and Elaine Wesely of Albert Lea, Minn.; 10 grandchildren; and two nephews, Morris (Margaret) Haskins and Robert (Ruth) Haskins of Albert Lea, Minn.
She was preceded in death by husbands Joseph Thiele (1969 – 2000) and Jerome Wesely (2003 – 2012); sisters Selma Olson, Sara Olson, Ora (Gilbert) Haskins, Lillian (Jesse) Amundson and Jeanette (Glenn) Murty; stepdaughter Yvonne (Kenneth) Thiele-Bell; grandson, Torre Halverson.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Jim Steffes officiating. There will be a 4 p.m. CCW rosary on Friday at Mayer Funeral Home, where friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. and also one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.
