John and Kelly Downey will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. They were married Feb. 27, 1988, at the Open Bible Church in Austin.

They are the children of Tom and Phyllis Paulson, Austin, and the late Frank and Georgia Downey of Austin. They will celebrate with family and friends. They are the parents of John (Sarah) Downey, Melissa (Jeremy) Bengen, Zach (Brooke) Downey, Christy (Scott), Stephanie (Ty) Kennedy and Jeffrey Cochran. They have 11 grandchildren.
