NWS issues wind chill advisory for Tuesday

The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory from 3 a.m. to noon Tuesday for Mower County. Wind chills are expected to drop into the 20 to 25 below zero range late Monday night and Tuesday morning.
Exposed skin could experience frost bite in as little as 30 minutes. NWS advised those who needed to travel outside to wear a warm hat and gloves along with appropriate shoes or boots.
Significant levels of snow fall are predicted for Thursday and Friday.
