7th graders win state tourney

The Austin seventh-grade boys basketball team took first in the 6A MYAS Grade State Tournament in Minneapolis last weekend. More than 700 teams entered the tournament and Austin was the No. 15 seed in the 16 -team bracket. Austin beat Jordan-Hubmen, Wayzata, the Urban Stars and Owatonna to win the bracket.
