Hospice program set for April through May

Mayo Clinic Health System’s Hospice program will hold a support group for individuals who have experienced the death of a loved one. The support group will meet from 4 to 5:30 p.m. every Tuesday, April 2 through May 7, at the Good Samaritan Comforcare Nursing Home, 1201 17th St. NE, Austin.

The Hospice program’s goal is to provide the highest quality care and to meet the health care needs of the patient and their family. Services provided include skilled nursing care, personal care, homemaker services, therapy, nutrition support, medical social services, physician directed services, clergy, volunteers and bereavement support.

The Hospice support group provides a caring and healing environment for those grieving. Call 507-434-1415 to register for this free group or for more information. Attendance at all six sessions is strongly recommended.
