Youth-based groups with educational ideas that will increase public knowledge of pig farming, pork’s nutritional value in the diet, or other pig/pork topics are encouraged to apply for an agricultural literacy grant from the Minnesota Pork Board.
Groups such as FFA chapters, 4-H clubs, and Family, Career and Community Leaders of America chapters can apply for up to $1,000 in funding. The organization applying for the grant and the project must be in Minnesota. The MPB will award grants based on project idea and financial need.
The application deadline is June 1.
