WORTHINGTON — The Riverland Community College softball team dropped a pair of games by scores of 5-4 and 15-0 at Minnesota West Friday.
The Blue Devils (2-2 overall, 2-2 MCAC South) tied the opener at four with three runs in the top of the sixth, but they lost the game in the bottom of the seventh on a two-out error that allowed the winning run to score.
RCC finished with nine errors on the day, after committing zero errors in its first two games.
“That was our downfall,” RCC head coach Al Eckmann said.
