Noah Hoehn, a solo band musician from the Twin Cities, will perform a free concert open to the public at the Waseca Sacred Heart Parish Center (the old school building) from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 18.
Many Hoehn and Frederick relatives and friends live in the Mower County area. Noah’s grandparents were Charles and Eva (Frederick) Hoehn, life-long residents of Madison Lake, Minn., and Gene and Cassie (Crilly) McCloskey are from Rose Creek.
Noah is an energetic performer, featuring his signature hot harmonica, cool marimba, and a variety of percussion and vocals. He uses live looping technology to create a full band sound of his original material.
He is a three-time winner of the McKnight Foundation Fellowship for performing musicians. He performs solo and with other bands in the Midwest region and also colleges in the Midwest and the eastern U.S.
