A driver is OK after his car started on fire Thursday morning in Austin.

According to the Austin Police Department’s report, the 25-year-old victim reported at 7:40 a.m. that his 1997 Buick Park Avenue was burning from the engine compartment. The owner was able to put out the flames with snow before firefighters arrived.

The police report did not list the amount of damage to the vehicle.
