The Freeborn-Mower chapter of the American Red Cross will hold several blood drives over the next few weeks.

Residents can give blood at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Brownsdale from 2 to 7 p.m. May 28, and at the LeRoy Community Center from 1 to 7 p.m. May 29.

Donors who give blood between May 23 and 31 in honor of Memorial Day could win one of five $1,000 American Express gift cards. Their donations will honor those who gave their life for our country and support those in need of care.
