Teen gets probation for burglarizing home

One of two suspects charged in a Jan. 9 home burglary was sentenced last Friday in Mower County Court.

Cody Granle, 18, of Austin, was sentenced to 10 years’ supervised probation and 80 hours of community service for felony second-degree burglary.

Alex Enright, 19, of Austin, previously pleaded guilty to third-degree burglary, a felony, in the same case.

The homeowner reportedly returned home at about 2:30 p.m. Jan. 9 and saw the two suspects run from the back of her house to a black car. The homeowner gave the description of the suspects and car to police. The officer later found them at about 3:15 p.m. The suspects were reportedly trying to steal an Xbox and Playstation Portable.
