St. Mark’s Lutheran Home in Austin will host a complimentary breakfast to teach veterans or surviving spouses about the Veteran’s Improved Pension Benefit.

The breakfast will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, June 28 at St. Mark’s, 400 15th Ave. SW, and will include coffee, doughnuts and door prizes.

Wayne Madson, director of Mower County Veterans Services, will discuss the pension benefits, which include information for long-term care planning.
