Five area softball players were named to the Class ‘A’ Minnesota Fastpich Coaches Association All-State team recently.

Blooming Prairie senior pitcher Shelbi Swenson and Hayfield junior catcher Dani Wagner were named to the first team, BP senior catcher Sam Ivers was named to the second team and BP senior shortstop Jenna Krell and Hayfield junior shortstop were named honorable mention.
