Pacelli alum starts girls basketball scholarship

Susan Kemmerick-Horner started an annual Pacelli girls basketball scholarship program for Pacelli High School as she was inducted to the Pacelli Hall of Fame June 21.

Kemmerick-Horner, who graduated from Pacelli in 1980, started the annual scholarship by given $1,000 scholarships to Lyle-Pacelli basketball players Ann Rysavy and Maggie Lewison.
From now on the scholarship, which will go towards tuition at Pacelli, will be awarded to one underclassman girls basketball every year. It will be based on achievements in basketball, academics, faith and community.
