A teenager is OK after running into a truck with a skateboard Sunday evening in Austin.

According to the police report, A Nissan Titan pickup truck was westbound on Oakland Avenue East near Fourth Street and had a green light when a 17-year-old Austin resident entered the intersection and struck the vehicle. According to the driver, from Austin, and a witness, the driver had the right of way.

The skateboarder had scrapes and abrasions; however, he denied medical attention. There was no damage to the truck, the report added.
