A convict in a February 2012 Austin home burglary has been resentenced and sent to prison.
Kyler Morehouse, 22, of Austin, was sentenced to 27 months in prison after several probation violations since his 2012 conviction for second-degree aggravated robbery. He was given 181 days’ credit for time served since February 2012.
Morehouse and three others burglarized a home at the 400 block of Second Avenue Southwest on Feb. 26, 2012. Victims say the four men broke into the house, repeatedly punched and hit two girls younger than 18 and a 19-year-old man, and stole several cell phones and a 32-inch TV, according to the court complaints.
