The smell of wet dog will surround the Austin Municipal Pool Aug. 23 for the Sixth Annual “Doggy Dip.”

Dogs and their owners are invited to take one last swim before the pool season comes to a close.

The event will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The cost is $2 for one dog and two human companions, and $1 for each additional human.

Dogs must have proof of current vaccinations and licenses. Human companions are expected to take full responsibility for their dogs. This includes proper disposal of waste, controlling their dog, and any inappropriate or aggressive behavior. No memberships will be accepted.
