The Austin girls soccer team lost 2-0 at Rochester Mayo (6-4 overall, 5-2 Big Nine) Tuesday.

Austin (4-5-1 overall, 1-4-1 Big Nine) missed a game-tying penalty kick early in the second half and the Spartans put the game away with a late goal.

“We played better in the second half,” Austin head coach Enrique Camerena-Corzo said. “We were a little down after the missed PK, but we still kept the pressure on.”
