An Austin man accused of sexually molesting a girl in Mower County from the time she was 7 to 12 years old admitted he was guilty.

Gary Russell Hegna, 46, of Austin, pleaded guilty to felony third-degree criminal sexual conduct Monday in Mower County Court. As part of a plea agreement, first-degree criminal sexual conduct was dismissed.

According to the court complaint, Hegna forced the girl to have sex, wear costumes and watch pornographic movies. A detective executed a search warrant at Hegna’s house where he found pornographic movies involving young girls and curtains covering all the windows inside the house and in a camper, the complaint adds.

Hegna is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 17, 2014.
