A 1,000-gallon tanker trailer was reported missing from Elkton over the weekend.

The owner on Sunday said the John Deer aluminum tanker, worth about $5,000, may have been missing from his property for about three weeks, according to the sheriff’s report. Deputies are checking to ensure the tanker wasn’t sold for scrap.
