It’s time to celebrate fall.
The Mower County Historical Society invites residents to the Fall Harvest Celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at the historical society on the east side of the fairgrounds. Admission is free but donations are accepted.
The celebration will include living history demonstrations such as oat threshing, logging, and sawing. There are a variety of activities, from horse-drawn tours of the fairgrounds to 1921 Model T rides. There will also be a bake sale and other events organized by Austin Early Childhood Family Education. Visitors can check out the various activities, and listen to music from JJ’s Pickup Band.
