Hayfield’s Tempel and GMLOS’s Kirtz run strong at Hayfield Invite

HAYFIELD — A couple of local runners finished in the top five at the 14-team Hayfield cross country invite Thursday.
Hayfield’s Gabe Tempel finished fourth in the boys’ race and Grand Meadow-LeRoy-Ostrander-Southland’s McKenzie Kirtz finished fifth in the girls’ race.
