A group of 15 area residents split a $10,000 prize from playing the Minnesota State Lottery’s Mega Millions game.

Dean Kominek of Brownsdale, Robert Lee of Albert Lea and Stephen Herron of Clarks Grove were among the group that won the prize. They purchased the ticket at Mills Gas Mart, 2121 W. Bridge St., Owatonna, and claimed the prize on Oct. 23.
