Olga L. Naulin, 98 ½, of Austin, Minn., died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Home.

Olga was born March 20, 1915, in Claire City, S.D., to August and Anna (Eichler) Otto. She graduated in 1933, from Sisseton High School in Sisseton, S.D. She came to Austin, Minn., to find work where she met Clarence “Toby” Naulin and they were married on May 14, 1939, at Claire City, S.D. Olga worked for J.C. Penney and Sears Roebuck for many years.

Olga liked gardening and fishing on Lake Pepin where she and Toby had a cabin that they enjoyed very much. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clarence, two brothers, William and Sonny Otto and two sisters, Dorraine Bucklin and Louise Enright.

Olga is survived by her sisters, Clara Kriz of Austin, Minn., Violet Jacobson of Austin, Minn. and Doris Burns of Bloomington, Minn.; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, at St. John’s Lutheran Church with the Reverend Thomas Ogilvie officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. and at the church on Saturday morning for one hour before the service.

Memorials are preferred to St. John’s Lutheran Church Radio Broadcast or the Alzheimer’s Association.
