enter. If you haven’t come down to see us yet, we would love to meet you. If you do come down, thank you. Please feel free to bring a friend.
This week, we have more exciting things to do. At 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jack from the Cedars is back. This time he has his cookbook done and will be selling it at the cooking show. Jack will cook up some items from his cookbook and giving out samples. To sign up please call 507-433-2370 ext. 0. Space is limited.
On Wednesday, we are hosting a Fraud Prevention seminar at 10 a.m. We all think this will never happen to us, until it does. The Federal Bureau of Investigation, financial institutions and merchants are always on the lookout for scam artists.
But, as the saying goes, the most effective offense is a good defense. And, as that other saying goes, you are the first line of defense. The best thing you can do to avoid fraud is to know how fraudsters work and how to protect your money and personal information. To join us for this informative seminar call 433-2370 ext. 0 to register.
Friday we will be hosting the play “The Encounter” at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free for all who attend. This play is put on by local residents from the Faith Evangelical Free Church.
The play is about people stranded in the middle of nowhere. Five strangers take refuge in a deserted roadside diner. An arrogant businessman, a lonely woman, an estranged couple, and a teen runaway. They appear to have nothing in common. But the Christlike proprietor seems strangely all-knowing and offers more than temporal nourishment. The play was adapted from the movie with the same name. Hope to see you there.
Don’t forget our coffee shop where every day you can have homemade soup for $1 and a sandwich for 50 cents. On Tuesday, there will be chicken and rice hotdish for $2 and on Wednesday will be grilled ham and cheese, potato salad and a ice cream desert for $3.25.
You are always welcome at the center.
