One teen was seriously injured after an ATV accident on Friday afternoon near LeRoy.

According to the Mower County Sheriff’s report, two teens were riding on separate ATVs before the collision at 75606 130th St. near LeRoy. One driver, traveling at 65 to 70 mph, ran into the other. The driver who was struck, 14 years old, was seriously injured, had bleeding of the brain and was transported to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

It does not appear alcohol was involved, the report said.
