Two Mower County residents were recently recognized for harvesting new members for the Minnesota Farm Bureau.

The Minnesota Farm Bureau recognized Mower County’s Larry Larson at the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation’s 95th annual meeting in Bloomington on Nov. 22 for continuous outstanding membership recruitment.

Larson was recognized as a Continuing Golden Plow member in the Producer’s Club for signing more than 100 new members.

The Farm Bureau also recognized Mower County’s Virginia Bissen for continuous outstanding membership. Bissen was recognized as a Planters Award member in the Producer’s Club for signing at least 15 new members in five years.
