Michelle Vigeland completed Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company’s two-part Mutual Managers’ School held Aug. 27-29 and Nov. 12-14 in Grinnell, Iowa.

She joined more than 50 participants from throughout the Midwest to learn about a variety of topics, including mutual management, claims, underwriting, reinsurance, marketing, and technology. Vigeland serves as the manager for Vernon Edda Mutual Fire Insurance Company in Blooming Prairie.

Vernon Edda has been in business locally since 1874. Vernon Edda provides property insurance to customers in Dodge, Mower, Olmsted, Fillmore, Freeborn, Goodhue, Waseca, and Winona counties.
