Two Brownsdale residents allegedly arrested on Thanksgiving with a large stash of methamphetamine both pleaded not guilty Thursday in Mower County Court.
Michael Charles Frost, 25, and Melissa Ann Frost, 34, each pleaded not guilty to felony charges of first-degree drug sale of more than 10 grams of meth, and first-degree drug sale of more than 25 grams of meth.
According to the court complaint, an officer stopped the Frosts’ car on East Oakland Avenue because it had crossed the center line. The officer noticed baggies sticking out of Michael’s pocket, the complaint added, and had another officer with a K-9 search the car. The K-9 allegedly found the meth inside of a purse, along with a pipe, digital scale, along with pills that were schedule 3 and schedule 4 substances.
Michael and Melissa each have pretrials set for April 17.
