The Hayfield boys basketball team opened the second half on a 35-12 run as they beat Lakeview (2-7 overall) in the Redwood Valley tournament Friday.

Cole Kruger had 21 points to lead the Vikings (9-1 overall).

Hayfield will play Redwood Valley Saturday at 8 p.m.
