Packer girls hockey team falls short in OT

The Austin girls hockey team lost the title game of the Willmar tournament to Willmar 3-2 in overtime Saturday.

The game came down to a shootout and Austin Mara Overby, who finished with 35 saves, stopped the first two shots, but Willmar scored on its third shot to win the game. The Packers (3-5 overall) missed on all three of their shots in the shootout.

Myia Hoium had a goal and an assist for Austin, Chloe Summerfield had a goal and Branid Myers had an assist.
