The YMCA of Austin calls all princesses and their fathers/grandfathers to attend the Princess Ball. It is Friday, Feb. 7 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Hormel Historic Home. It is open to Y members and non-members.

The event is appropriate for ages 3 and older. The attire is whatever you are comfortable in. Many girls wear princess/holiday dresses and many fathers/grandfathers wear suits, blazers or shirts/ties.

The cost for the event is $30 member couple, $15 additional daughter, $50 non-member couple, $20 additional daughter. Registration can be done on-line or at the Y front desk. Space is limited so register early.

Parents’ Night Out is Saturday Feb. 22 from 5 to 9 p.m. It is open to kids 6 weeks to 12 years old. Treat yourself to a evening out, you can drop off your kids for a night of fun with crafts, games, and finish the evening with a health snack and nighttime story. As a parent you will know that your children are in a safe and structured environment for a “grown-up” night out.

The only thing that you have to bring with your child/children is a sack dinner. The cost is $7 for members and $3 for each additional child. Program Participants cost is $7.50 and $3.75 for each additional child.
