Flu season may have peaked a little early this year.

After flu cases ramped up in January, Community Health Director Lisa Kocer told the board Tuesday that the number of cases has leveled back off.

Typically, cases peak around this time each year. A month ago, Kocer and health officials were warning that flu season was in full swing.
