To celebrate Red Cross Month in March, the American Red Cross is calling for people to take a Red Cross class to learn how to save a life. To register for CPR classes, go to www.redcross.org or call 800-733-2767. To register for disaster training classes, call the local office at 507-437-4589.

Upcoming classes at Austin’s Red Cross office, 305 Fourth Ave. NW:

March 8: Client Casework, free. This class is intended for disaster volunteers.

March 22: Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid, $110. If you do not need the pediatric portion, your class will end at 2 p.m. and cost $90. If you do not need the first aid portion, your class will end at 11:30 a.m. and cost $70.

March 24 and 25: 6:30 to 8 p.m. both nights — Disaster Services Overview, free. This class is meant for disaster volunteers.
