It’s a Minnesota thing. Put on the coffee pot and invite some friends and they will come.

It was so much fun seeing so many of you at our annual Coffee Party/Travel show. We also enjoyed browsing through some of the nice photo albums from former trips.

This year’s theme, “Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow,” couldn’t have been more true this year as it sure has done just that. None of our guests retired their snow shovels yet for this year as we had suggested.

A calendar of travel schedule for 2014, along with our newsletters and itineraries are now available to pick up.  Drawings were won by Doug Braaten, Ann Dixon, Jeanne  Rolfson and Joe Davison. These may be picked up at the Travel Office.

Upcoming trips

April 10-11:  “Mary Poppins” at the Fireside Dinner Theatre in Atkinson, Wis..

May 14-15: Tulip Festival in Orange City, Iowa

May 28: “Church Basement Ladies Final Potluck.”

May 29: “Church Basement Ladies Final Potluck” — FILLED. Still openings for May 28.

June 30: House and Garden Tour, a real clue to the first mystery trip for this summer.

This is another unique day planned which is all new.

July 30: “Little Mermaid” Chanhassen Dinner Theatre.

Sept. 6-11: Mackinac Island and Door County, six-day tour.

Oct. 15: “Hello Dolly” Chanhassen Dinner Theater.

Oct. 30-31: “Fireside Christmas Show,” opening night

Nov. 12: All new Branson Christmas schedule
