Tom and Bonnie Frisk of Mankato, Minn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Elizabeth Frisk, to Benjamin James Boor, son of Paul and Susan Boor of Hutchinson, Minn.

Nicole is a 2007 graduate of Mankato West High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis with a bachelor of science degree in mortuary science. She is currently employed by Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven Chapel in Crystal, Minn. as a funeral pre-planning specialist. She was formerly a funeral director at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm, Minn.

Benjamin is a 2011 graduate of the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis with bachelor of science degree in material science. He is currently completing his masters in mechanical engineering at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. He is currently employed by St. Jude Medical in Plymounth, Minn., as a process engineer.

The couple plans to wed on Sept. 27.
